Why free(ish)? A smartphone you get via any wireless company’s Lifeline program is typically an entry-level smartphone, which is selected by the wireless provider. You don’t get to choose a device yourself.
NOTE: If you are employed at a governmental company, they might be willing to provide you with a FREE iPhone as a work phone.

2. Does Apple Give Away Free iPhones?
We performed deeper research on that one and as far as we can tell, Apple doesn’t give away their phones for free. If you see a giveaway that says it is offered directly by Apple, stay away from it as it is most likely a scam.
NOTE: There are other companies that do offer legit giveaways from time to time as part of a certain promotion (more on that in section 4.4).
Apple does, however, offer a so-called ‘trade in’ option – you bring in your old iPhone and get a credit towards the purchase of your new iPhone. The most credit you can currently get is $500 for iPhone XS Max. Trade-in process can be done in person or even via mail.

3. Does Google Giveaway Free iPhones?
Google doesn’t give away Apple products as far as the results of our research go. If you encounter a “Free iPhone” giveaway that says it is offered directly by Google, stay away from it as it is most likely a scam.

4. Alternative Ways To Get A FREE(ish) iPhone
There are several additional ways where you can get a FREE or FREE(ish) iPhone. Some require a lot of luck, while others an investment in form of your time and work. Let’s take a closer look.
4.1. Survey Offers
There are survey platform where you collect points/credits, which may then be used to purchase certain products. There are many survey platforms, including Survey Junkie, Vindale, LifePoints, instaGC, and Swagbucks, which is the most reputable option.
If you collect enough points/credit, you may then use it to purchase an iPhone. This is not really a FREE method since you will have to invest in some time and effort, however, it is definitely a valid option. Expect to spend at least 1 month on a platform to make enough to purchase a discounted iPhone.
4.2. Product Testing
We were able to find a special time-limited deal at https://producttestingusa.com/ where you can test and keep the iPhone 11 Pro for FREE. There are many options for older models as well. There might be other testing platforms that offer free iPhones.
4.3. Jobs Offers
There are many companies, especially tech-oriented that offer their employees FREE iPhones as their work phones. If your company offers work phones, ask them if they might be willing to go with iPhones. That way you can use an iPhone for free.
Often times, those companies give those phones to their employees for free or highly discounted price after 2 years.
You can connect with a local Apple store and offer your marketing services in exchange for a FREE iPhone. If you have a large following on social media, this can be rather easily done.

4.4. Chance to win a FREE iPhone
There are countless contests online and on social media giving you a chance to win a FREE iPhone. You can search for those yourself. Use Google search and enter ‘free iPhone’ or ‘free iPhone contest’ in it. To view only the latest results (t.i. active contests) select the ‘past week’ within the Google results display options.
These contests are essentially very similar to the lottery. In some rare cases you must buy some sort of item in the range of under $10 to qualify, other times entering your email is enough.

WARNING: There are many legit contests that actually give you a chance of winning a free iPhone, however, there are also some scams. More on that in section 6.
4.4.1. Giveaways
Giveaways are often similar to the above described ‘free iPhone contests’. They are mostly popular among YouTubers and Instagramers. Often times, you can get a chance of winning a giveaway price (in our case an iPhone) by completing some simple tasks. Sometimes subscribing to a channel, liking, and commenting on specific content can be enough to get you in on it. You must than still be selected (which is mostly done completely randomly).
Most giveaways and contests provide you with a specific set of tasks you must perform in order to get in the pool of participants, among which one will be selected to get a free device.
However, sometimes there are contests or giveaways that give an advantage to those willing to try harder. These are actual contests, and a participant that performs the best wins the price. These can be online games, quizzes, affiliate programs, “spread the word” contests, leave the most comments, etc.
Before entering any contest or giveaway, make sure to go through the section below.
5. Be Aware: FREE iPhone SCAMS
Since iPhones are so widely popular and people rush like crazy when they see a chance of getting a FREE iPhone, everyone wants to take advantage of that, even scammers. Thus, make sure to pay extra attention when joining any “Win FREE iPhone” contests or giveaways.
As we mentioned above, Apple and Google don’t offer FREE iPhones. So, if you see a statement claiming that the offer is provided by Apple or Google, it is most likely a scam.
Secondly, we advise you to limit yourself to taking part in contests and giveaways that are free to enter and request no more than an email address and your name. If they want additional personal information or your credit card detail, it is probably safer to step away.
If you need to purchase a product to enter a contest to win a FREE iPhone, make sure that this is a reputable site. Google it and gather some information about it before giving them your card details (preferably choose the ‘payment upon receipt’ option if available).
6. Cellphone/Wireless Carriers Deals for Free iPhone
As far as we know, there are no cellphone/wireless carriers offering FREE iPhones, however, they do have some amazing deals that can get you highly discounted or even a FREE(ish) (you will have to sign a long term contract and pay for specific monthly service).
NOTE: Most deals offered by wireless providers are time-limited, thus they may no longer be available by the time you are reading this report. However, they add new deals on a regular basis, giving you a chance of getting a free(ish) iPhone. Moreover, most deals are also location-limited, meaning they apply to only specific zip codes.
