If you decide to explore the BYOP option, you must first make sure that your phone is compatible with Boost Mobile. There are two ways to go around this process:
- You can find a local Boost Mobile store and have local personnel perform this check for you.

- You can perform the COMPATIBILITY CHECK yourself online.
Assuming that most of you reading this article are capable of using your computers or smartphones to access the internet, we will focus on the second of the above two methods.
So, in order to check your Boost Mobile compatibility, visit https://activate.boostmobile.com/bring-your-phone and enter your phone’s ID (IMEI or MEID (DEC) number). You will see a box with the “ENTER YOUR DEVICE ID” text and the “CONTINUE” orange button next to it. Simply enter the number in the box and click the button to complete the compatibility check.
