True Wireless Free Phone Lifeline Eligibility
In order to get a True Wireless FREE plan and a FREE phone, you will have to meet one of the following qualification points:
- LOW INCOME: Every household that has a combined income at 135% of the poverty guideline or below is eligible. Check out free government cell phone low income
- PARTICIPATION in a government-supported program of a single household member. Here is a list of programs:

Click on the button and it will take you to the next page where you will need to enter your ZIP code.
Enter your ZIP code in the box that says “ENTER YOUR ZIP CODE” and then click the “CHECK” button. If your area is covered, you will be shown a page containing all the details regarding the Lifeline Assistance program. You are advised to read it. Then click the “CLAIM YOUR BENEFITS!” button at the bottom of the page.

Best Free Phones at True Wireless
There is no information available regarding the exact mobile phones that come for free on the True Wireless website. We even called them to obtain detailed information but they told us that they intentionally don’t provide any details since the phones available for free constantly change.
Like all other wireless providers that offer free devices, True Wireless doesn’t let you choose the exact device. They provide you with an Android phone that is currently available.

True Wireless has changed this option several times in the past few years. Currently, there is no information about the ‘Bring Your Own Phone’ option on their site, which most likely means that this option is currently unavailable.
However, if you have a working phone and would like to bring it to True Wireless and use it on their network, call their support at 877-412-1919 to get the latest information.
What to do if a True Wireless phone gets damaged, stolen, broken, or lost?
If your mobile phone is lost or stolen, you are responsible for charges incurred until you notify True Wireless of the loss of your mobile by calling their support at 1‐877‐412‐1919. Upon receiving notice that your mobile phone is lost or stolen, True Wireless will suspend your account. If you do not either activate a new True Wireless phone or notify them that you have found your old mobile phone within 60 days of the suspension of your account, your account will be deactivated and you will lose your True Wireless phone number.
For any other issues with your phone, call 1‐877‐412‐1919 and report your issue. In some cases, you may be able to get a replacement phone.
